• Help those displaced by the Blair Building Fire


    The Huntingdon County Chamber of Commerce offers this list of restaurants to purchase gift certificates from to help those displaced from the Blair Building fire. If ordering online, gift certificates can be emailed to Charity.Bender@use.salvationarmy.org. If ordering over the phone the restaurants will make sure the Salvation Army receives the gift certificates. We are waiting to hear back from others, so this list will likely grow.

    No donations are needed at this time, however, people can call Michele Rupert at 814-599-4700 if they have items to donate.


    If any organizations, etc. would like to help provide meals for the residents in the hotels they can contact Michele Rupert 814-599-4700 to coordinate. Currently there are about 20 residents in the area hotels.
